The aim of this foundation is to spread the intellectual legacy of Frans Nijhuis.

The philosophy of Frans Nijhuis: “In order to be able to place the target group of people with a disability and a large distance to the labour market sustainably with regular companies, a fundamentally different approach is needed. This can only be achieved by a methodical approach in which the employer’s demand for productive labour is central. A win-win situation can and must be created.

Success is not only a question of corporate social responsibility, but also of economic profitability. Hiring people who are at a great distance from the labour market, the employer must also simply make money. Inclusive employment, that’s the key word.”

Objectives

The foundation tries to achieve its goal by:

giving presentations, lectures and other oral and written expressions about the philosophy
advising national and local authorities on how to act according to the philosophy
advising companies and service providers on how to act according to the philosophy,
training companies and service providers in how to operate
the development of materials for the purpose of increasing the knowledge and skills of others in relation to the philosophy
working towards the best and evidence-based practices in relation to the implementation, output and impact of the philosophy.

The foundation does not aim to make a profit.
